Sales up 67%, net up 68%

Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Macrotech Developers for the quarter ended Jun 2022 has increased 66.67% to Rs 2675.75 crore. Operating profit margin has declined from 21.07% to 17.44%, leading to 37.95% rise in operating profit to Rs 466.69 crore. Employee cost decreased from 5.58% to 3.59%. Other expenses rose from 73.35% to 78.97%. Selling and administration expenses rose from 66.09% to 71.02%. Construction development cost rose from 66.09% to 71.02%.

Other income fell 99.98% to Rs 0.03 crore. PBIDT fell 3.34% to Rs 466.72 crore. Provision for interest fell 51.31% to Rs 119.33 crore.

PBDT rose 46.12% to Rs 347.39 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 5.31% to Rs 19.63 crore.

Profit before tax grew 49.59% to Rs 327.76 crore. Provision for tax was expense of Rs 55.86 crore, compared to Rs 58.81 crore. Effective tax rate was 17.08% compared to 26.79%.

Net profit attributable to owners of the company increased 68.29% to Rs 270.80 crore.

Promoters’ stake was 82.20% as of 30 June 2022 ,compared to 88.50% as of 30 June 2021 .
