Net revenue from operations stood at Rs 232.53 crore in Q4 FY23, registering a growth of 39.52% from Rs 166.67 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter previous year. Sequentially, the net sales rose 5.04% in Q4 FY23 from Rs 221.37 crore in Q3 FY23. The company said that FY22 was impacted due to covid.
Profit before tax surged to Rs 95.94 crore in quarter ended 31 March 2023 as against Rs 20.59 crore registered in the same period a year ago.
The company posted a positive adjusted EBITDA (excluding ESOP expenses) of Rs 35.6 crore in Q4 FY23 compared with negative adjusted EBITDA of Rs 0.8 crore in Q4 FY22. Sequentially, adjusted EBITDA jumped 21% in quarter ended 31 March 2023 from Rs 29.4 crore in Q3 FY23.
Adjusted EBITDA margin (excluding ESOP expenses) enhanced to 15.3% in Q4 FY23.
The company said that it had ramped up hiring in previous few quarters which resulted in higher employee expenses in recent quarters. However, operating expenses growth remained controlled in Q4 FY23 and operating leverage benefits are playing out.
Deferred revenue stood at Rs 438.2 crore, up 8.9% QoQ and 29.6% YoY. Continued sequential growth in deferred revenue (led by 9.5% QoQ growth in collections to Rs 268.3 crore) is encouraging.
Cash and Investments aggregated to Rs 4,066.8 crore as on 31 March 2023 as compared to Rs 3,820.1 crore as on 31 March 2022 and Rs 3,934.4 crore as on 31 December 2022.
Total traffic (unique visitors) for the quarter stood at 159.3 million, up 10% YoY and 1.6% QoQ. 86.1% traffic originated on Mobile platforms, 10.4% on Desktop/ PC and 3.4% on the company's Voice platform.
Total active listings were at 36.5 million as on 31 March 2023, an increase of 14.4% YoY and 4.2% QoQ. 1,483,553 listings were added (net) to the database during the quarter. Out of total listings, 22.3 million listings were geocoded as on 31 March 2023, up 20.6% YoY. Total Images in listings stood at 139.2 million, up 18.3% YoY and up 5.6% QoQ.
Total Ratings & Reviews stood at 143 million at the end of quarter, up 10.5% YoY.
Active paid campaigns at the end of quarter improved to 538,220, up 16.6% YoY and 3.1% QoQ. Healthy paid campaigns addition of 16,340 for the quarter was led by continued focus on signing up majority of customers on monthly payment plans, said the company.
On full year basis, the company's standalone net profit soared 129.66% to Rs 162.92 crore on 30.58% rise in net revenue to Rs 844.76 crore in FY23 over FY22.
