Spandana Sphoorty board OKs raising Rs 75 cr via NCDs
Spandana Sphoorty Financial informed that its board has approved the issuance non-convertible debentures (NCDs) up to Rs 75 crore including green shoe option of Rs 25 crore on a private placement basis.
These senior, secured, rated, listed, redeemable NCDs having interest rate of 10.60% will be allotted on 24 August 2023 and will mature on 24 February 2025.

The debentures are proposed to be listed on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Spandana Sphoorty Financial is a rural-focused non-banking financial company and a microfinance lender (NBFC-MFI) with a geographically diversified presence in India

The company reported consolidated net profit of Rs 119.45 crore in Q1 FY24 as against net loss of Rs 219.77 crore in Q1 FY23. Total income jumped 103.7% YoY to Rs 527.29 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2023.
