During the month of August 2023, Cement sector’s Marketcap increased 21.17% to Rs 612760.46 crore, compared to 16.44% rise in total listed marketcap to Rs 31177469.34 crore.

Sector’s share of total listed marketcap moved to 1.97% in August 2023 from 1.89% in July 2022 and 2.4% in July 2021.
