Among the other constituents of the index, Route Mobile Ltd increased 1.92% and Tata Communications Ltd added 1.04% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecommunication index went up 23.34 % over last one year compared to the 15.44% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

Avantel Ltd has lost 13.28% over last one month compared to 8.31% gain in S&P BSE Telecommunication index and 1.43% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 1385 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 2.76 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 273.7 on 28 Aug 2023. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 56.6 on 26 Sep 2022.
