Net sales (including other operating income) of Minda Corporation has increased 33.22% to Rs 1846.31 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped from 11.28% to 11.46%, leading to 35.41% rise in operating profit to Rs 211.63 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 60.01% to 63.01%. Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 2.48% to 1.72%. Employee cost decreased from 16.24% to 14.76%. Other expenses fell from 10.08% to 9.31%. Other income fell 50.76% to Rs 1.62 crore. PBIDT rose 33.63% to Rs 213.25 crore. Provision for interest fell 4.09% to Rs 31.46 crore. PBDT rose 43.39% to Rs 181.79 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 22.77% to Rs 68.81 crore. Profit before tax grew 59.73% to Rs 112.98 crore. Share of profit/loss was 36% higher at Rs 17.87 crore. Provision for tax was expense of Rs 48.59 crore, compared to Rs 18.56 crore. Effective tax rate was 19.07% compared to 22.13%. Minority interest was nil in both the periods. Net profit attributable to owners of the company increased 215.46% to Rs 206.03 crore. Promoters’ stake was 64.84% as of 30 June 2026 ,compared to 64.84% as of 30 June 2025 .

Net sales (including other operating income) of Minda Corporation has increased 22.33% to Rs 6185.34 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped from 11.37% to 11.66%, leading to 25.45% rise in operating profit to Rs 721.09 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 60.39% to 60.97%. Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 1.88% to 2.37%. Employee cost decreased from 15.46% to 14.98%. Other expenses fell from 10.92% to 10.12%. Other income fell 53.01% to Rs 15.23 crore. PBIDT rose 21.26% to Rs 736.32 crore. Provision for interest rose 81.28% to Rs 121.89 crore. Loan funds declined from Rs 1,609.48 crore as of 31 March 2025 to Rs 1,471.45 crore as of 31 March 2026. Inventories rose to Rs 709.90 crore as of 31 March 2026 from Rs 580.78 crore as of 31 March 2025. Sundry debtors were higher at Rs 994.97 crore as of 31 March 2026 compared to Rs 827.53 crore as of 31 March 2025. Cash and bank balance rose to Rs 147.08 crore as of 31 March 2026 from Rs 96.62 crore as of 31 March 2025. Investments rose to Rs 1,558.43 crore as of 31 March 2026 from Rs 1,475.64 crore as of 31 March 2025 . PBDT rose 13.79% to Rs 614.43 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 12.35% to Rs 229.54 crore. Fixed assets increased to Rs 1,575.62 crore as of 31 March 2026 from Rs 1,411.77 crore as of 31 March 2025. Intangible assets increased from Rs 180.88 crore to Rs 183.60 crore. Profit before tax grew 14.67% to Rs 384.89 crore. Share of profit/loss was 401.42% higher at Rs 81.08 crore. Provision for tax was expense of Rs 106.33 crore, compared to Rs 96.46 crore. Effective tax rate was 22.89% compared to 27.42%. Minority interest was nil in both the periods. Net profit attributable to owners of the company increased 41.07% to Rs 360.26 crore. Equity capital stood at Rs 47.82 crore as of 31 March 2026 to Rs 47.82 crore as of 31 March 2025. Per share face Value remained same at Rs 2.00. Promoters’ stake was 64.84% as of 31 March 2026 ,compared to 64.84% as of 31 March 2025 . Cash flow from operating activities increased to Rs 675.62 crore for year ended March 2026 from Rs 544.34 crore for year ended March 2025. Cash flow used in acquiring fixed assets during the year ended March 2026 stood at Rs 394.44 crore, compared to Rs 350.06 crore during the year ended March 2025. Other highlights
During the quarter, Minda Corporation invested Rs 63 crore
in its group companies, Spark Minda Green Mobility Systems, Minda HCMF
Technologies and Spark Minda – Toyodenso India to support its business
expansion.
The Company is moving ahead with the consolidation of Minda
VAST into Minda Corporation from Q1 FY27, strengthening its presence in the
passenger vehicle segment and expanding its vehicle access systems portfolio
across locksets, latches, handles, immobilizers, passive entry systems and
power access solutions.
In Q1 FY27, PAT includes exceptional gain (net of tax) of Rs
106 crore arising from consolidation of Minda Vast.
Total New Lifetime Order-book in Q1 FY27 stood at Rs 2,500
crore with EV constituting over 15%.
In Q1 FY27, 2Ws contributed 46% to revenue, CVs 27%,
aftermarket 8%, and PVs 19%.
In terms of geography, India contributed 89% to revenue in Q1
FY27, Europe & North America 6%, and SE Asia 5%.
In terms of product mix, Vehicle Access contributed 25% to Q1
FY27 revenue, WH 32%, Die Casting 15%, Clusters 16%, and Others 12%.
In Q1 FY27, Mechatronics and Aftermarket segment grew 33%
YoY, and Information & Connected Systems segment grew 34% YoY. Management Comments : Mr. Ashok Minda, Chairman and Group CEO
