Total two-wheelers sales increased by 4% to 312,307 units in July 2023 from 299,658 units sold in July 2022. Domestic two-wheeler sales stood at 235,230 units in July 2023, registering a growth of 17% as compared to 201,942 units sold in the same period last year.
Motorcycle registered sales of 153,942 units in July 2023, up 2% as against 150,340 units sold in July 2022. Scooter sales of the company reported 121,941 units in July 2023 as compared to the sale of 116,500 units in July 2022, recording a growth of 3%.
The company's total exports dropped 20.37% to 89,213 units in July 2023 as against 112,032 units in July 2022. Two-wheeler exports tumbled 21.12% to 77,077 units in July 2023 from 97,716 units sold in the same period a year ago.
In the three-wheeler segment, the sales of the company reduced by 8.75% to 13,670 units in July 2023 from 14,981 units in July 2022.
In the electric vehicle segment, the company sold 13,306 units of TVS iQube Electric in July 2023 as against sales of 6,304 units in July 2022. The firm said that TVS iQube continues to receive very positive customer acceptance and has crossed the sales milestone of 150,000 units.
